Danger Without Intentions Student Behavior & Truancy Awareness Program
is designed to reduce the number of teen dropouts and alert them that the
choices they make now will play a major factor in their goals and careers for
the rest of their lives. Students will
hear and see the importance of staying in school and how appearance and behavior
can affect future opportunities. Examples
of higher education and earnings are provided on how it will and can impact them.
They will hear personal stories from guest about choices they made and how it has
changed their lives.
The
presentation team also provides a one on one question and answer session at the
conclusion of the program. The program
ends with powerful closing that will leave a lasting memory of the
presentation.
The
lives touched by this program and the feedback from surveys received from
students, parents, educators, and offenders have been extremely positive. If even one student realizes the importance
of staying in school and avoids injury or even death, then the small amount of
time invested will have been more than worthwhile.
