Drunk Driving / Alcohol
&
Drug Awareness Program
provided for either Adults or Youth Offenders, citations cover some
of the following offences:
Driving without a
License, DUI (Driving Under Influence – for Minors under 21) and DWI
(Driving While Intoxicated – for Adults), Obstruction Highway,
Evading Arrest, Failure to ID, Fake ID, Hit & Run, MIC (Minor In
Consumption), MIP (Minor in Possession), PI (Public Intoxication),
TAB (Tobacco Charge), PDP (Possession Drug Paraphernalia), POM
(Possession of Marijuana), PCS (Possession Controlled Substance), OC
(Open Container), SBV (Seat Belt Violations), Selling to Minors,
Speeding, UVU (Unauthorized Vehicle Use), Unsafe Speed, etc.
Student Behavior and Truancy Awareness Programs, “SBTA” for Youth offenders of the following offences: (See Attached Flyer for additional Information ):
Abusive Language, Assault, Assault by Contact, Attendance, Behavior, Back Talking, Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Curfew Violations, Cursing, Disruption Class, Disruption on Transportation, Fighting, Gambling, Gang Related, Gun Related, Language, Runaway/Skipping, Shoplifting, Sexting, Tagging, Talking Back, Theft, Truancy, Trespassing, etc

School Alcohol & Drug Awareness Programs:

60-90 Minute Programs -
Even
though we are a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization, we still have a
charge for our Alcohol & Drug Awareness Programs.
For your convenience we have attached
an outline on what our Alcohol & Drug Awareness Program covers at
schools and/or colleges
Should you school be limited on funding, we have heard from
other schools that when schools are limited on funding that
there are several other options that have helped others get funding
for our program.
Some of your local HEB, Wal-Mart, Sonic,
Police, Fire or EMS sometimes have monies for Alcohol & Drug
Awareness programs and will often donate to the cause
Crash Car Display and
Static Table Displays -

Actual Crash Car involving the
first Travis County DWI Murder case which resulted in the death of 2
young students, age 5 and 16. The drunk driver received two 50
year sentences for death of these two students.
Seat Belt Safety
Checks
One of the things we offer during our school programs is a Seat
Belt Safety Check on the dates that we present to a school and will
have the results on the screen during the programs. The
purpose is to let students know how important it is to wear their
seat belts and to commend those that we find were wearing them.
This Seat Belt Check is simply and observation, vehicles are NOT
Stopped and students are place in a safe location when performing
these checks
Radar Speed Checks
Speed Checks are done in School zones with 2 Radar Guns on the
morning that we present to a school, with results on the screen
during the programs. The purpose is to educate students about
the dangers speeding can cause
Lunch Period Display
-
Field Sobriety Test and setup of Display
Table for distribution of educational materials on various topics
concerning alcohol and drugs can be set up during the lunch periods
Additional Table Display for the belongings
of the young 16 year old girl, Erica Vasquez, who died in the actual
car that is the current vehicle being used for the Crash Car Display
Program Evaluation -
Program Evaluation provided to schools which helps know what
students thought about our program. Once evaluations have been
completed by the students, packaged and mailed to us, once we've
received them we will enter and return all results within
approximately 7 to 10 working days from
the date we received them. Schools and/or participating
agencies get the results in Graph & Report format via email
